We have just heard from Sanctum movie producer Andrew Wight. This cave diving film premieres January 31, 2011 in Los Angeles, and goes wide February 4th. Andrew has dedicated the film to Wes Skiles. Jill Heinerth, acclaimed underwater explorer and film maker, will give an exciting presentation of her latest project, WE ARE WATER, on Friday, October 1st at 6pm, at the High Springs New Century Womens Club. Admission is free.
Rich with images and video clips, WE ARE WATER explores our physical and spiritual relationship with the water that touches our lives. Ms. Heinerth, who is a frequent speaker at international conferences and workshops, will release this project as a documentary film and interactive Internet project in 2011.
Recognized as a top cave and technical diver, Jill Heinerth produced, co-wrote and appeared in the popular PBS documentary series “Water’s Journey.” She was a creative partner of the late photographer and videographer, Wes Skiles, and her presentation pays tribute to, and continues the legacy of springs conservation that Wes championed throughout his lifetime.
This event is sponsored by High Springs Main Street, and is part of the weekend-long High Springs River Festival celebration.
