Sensible Diluent Flush
Dr. Bill Stone gets another nod in the favorite features area. The Cis Lunar MK-5P rebreather contains three separate injector nozzles that spray directly on the face of the oxygen sensors. This feature allows the user to immediately read the results of a diluent flush, but more importantly, it effectively dries the sensor faces that are subject to condensation in the moist breathing loop. I have used this feature on lengthy dives well over ten hours and found the sensor reading to be very reliable. Kudos Bill. I don't know if that feature is patented, but manufacturers take note. This would prevent a lot of issues for lengthy dives. Again, your comments are encouraged. --Jill Heinerth

Thanks Johan... great comment. Send us some pics of yourself. We'd love to publish some shots of the Pelagian.

The Pelagian DCCCR has a similar function, but doesn´t spray directly onto the face of the sensors, but rather "scrape" them, thereby not forcing water into the membranes...
In my opinion it works very well!
