Recently at the DEMA 2008 Trade Show, Leon Scamahorn, CEO of Innerspace Systems Corp., gave me a tour of new products under development. The Tall Meg with 8-pound scrubber, Sidemount-Meg and various new radial canisters have already been circulating through the market, but he also showed the new BOV and Pathfinder Rebreather which have recently undergone extensive testing in Europe. The Pathfinder rig, may fill a needed void for recreational divers in addition to Meg divers seeking a deep-water bailout rig. I thought it looked small enough to stuff in a very light carry-on for travel. --Jill Heinerth
